Abstract The present research paper on traditional agriculture practices adopted in Nandurbar district was initiated from 2016- 2018. Various localities were visited periodically for collection and field observations of ethnoecologically important plants and animals used for aricultural ptactices traditionally. Method necessary for a botanical and zoological collection as well as modern ethnobotanical work have been followed and adopted from the earlier workers like Jain, (1987a, 1988, 1989, 1995a); Jain and Rao, (1976, 1977); Ragavaiah, (1956). The systematic enumeration made for concluding the article as Flooding, Rotation of crops, Slash and burn, Fallow, Planting in raised beds, Storage practices, Multistory systems, Tribal pest control knowledge, Traditional agriculture fertilizers and traditional store grain.
