Corporate Governance means doing everything better, to improve relations between companies and their shareholders; to improve the quality of outside Directors; to encourage people to think long-term; to ensure that information needs of all stakeholders are met and to ensure that executive management is monitored properly in the interest of shareholders. In this research paper attempt has been made to find current status of corporate governance disclosure practice in India. For this purpose 500 companies from ten industries were studied. In order to study corporate governance disclosure practice, mandatory item of revised clause 49 has been taken. It has been observed that all companies are following almost all the item of corporate governance index. Moreover there is no significant difference among the disclosure score across the industries.
