Title

The espousal of various E-Banking tools: A study on a different category of customers

Abstract

The banking sector has witnessed numerous changes in the past few decades, the prominent among them is the introduction of information technology and conversion of tradition model banking into electronic banking. It has not only introduced new tools of banking but also expanded the scope and scale of activities and services provided by the banks and the financial institutions. Today banking business has spread out widely even in the remote corners of the country. It is to be noted that the various tools offered by banks under E-banking, helps the customer to undertake banking operations with the help of certain electronic gadgets from remote areas without physically entry into banks. Thus the customers are not required to visit banks often to undertake the banking operations. Even though there are various tools offered under E-Banking, it is to be noted that there is a lot of variation among the usage of various tools by the different category of customers. This paper study the acceptance and adoption of the various E-Banking tools and the related services among the different category of customers. ATM The most commonly used tool is and the most common service is withdrawing. The study presents the various valuable tools that are least used by the customers thus present the extent to which these services are used by various category of consumers even though all the services are equally important.
