Title

AN ACTIVE CLAMP FLYBACK CASCADED BUCK-BOOST CONVERTER TOPOLOGY FOR PV POWER SYSTEM

Abstract

This paper presents an LED lighting system with PV sources. The circuit diagram of the proposed converter comprises of buck-boost converter (to charge the battery) cascaded with flyback converter (to drive an LED lighting system). There are many advantages of the proposed circuit such as less component count, lighter in weight, smaller in size and high conversion efficiency. When compared to conventional converter can improve the conversion efficiency of 83% under full load condition to drive LED lighting system.
