Title

BRIDGE SAFETY MONITORING AND REAL TIME ANALYSIS OF FLOOD DETECTION SYSTEM USING IoT

Abstract

Floods are most common and widespread of all natural disasters. It causes damages to houses, industries bridges resulting in loss of lives and property. Though it is not possible to control the disasters totally, by adopting suitable measures the flood damages can be minimized. Bridge-mounted river stage sensors (BMRSS) make periodic measurements of the distance from the sensor to the water level below Properly interpreted, these measurements provide river-stage information, data of great importance to society and crucial to effective flood forecasting. In this project we are going to monitor the parameters of the bridge which will help us to maintain the bridge and detect the faults. There all time safety evaluation of bridges includes the following components:(1)real-time analysis of weight.(2)real-time analysis of flood and real time detection of cracks water level.(3)The sensors will detect the condition of the changing parameter of the bridge The good results show that the proposed systems have potential to provide real time information of water level. Also it will continuously monitor for Water level below the bridge and keep a track of flood like situation to avoid accidents. The main aim of this project is to minimize the structural damages and prevent the life and property.
