The present study attempts to examine the impact of talent management practices on employees’ performance in selected private sector banks. Primary data has been collected through pre-tested structured questionnaire. For the purpose of data collection, a sample of 102 employees working in the private sector banks was selected. The study sought to determine the how strategic talent management influence performance of banking sector in Thanjavur district. Data was collected using an interview schedule and data analysis was done using content analysis. The study successfully managed to interview all the interviewees who were serving in various departments of the select banks such as human resource department, marketing department, branch operations department, the finance department and Information Technology department. KEY WORDS : BANKING THEORIES , AND EMPLOYEES PERFORMENCE.
