Title

Data Security using Partially Transmitted Sequences with Gaussian Window and Fast Fourier Transform

Abstract

There exist several ways in which security of data can be attained. The data security for very confidential data is a major area of concern these days. With proliferation of digital technology in every domain, many times proper data security is not ensured for important data. The reason for this can be attributed to the fact that the encrypted data is often easily recognizable making it more vulnerable to security breaches The reason being its presence in the OSI model’s application layer. Therefore, the need for a platform of physical security comes up. The proposed technique implements partially transmitted sequences with the fast Fourier transform for obtaining secure physical layer. Moreover a window function (WF) has been used with the technique to further reduction of the crest factor. The Complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) of the crest factor of the data is the performance metric for the proposed approach. It has been observed that the proposed system achieves a low crest factor henceforth enhancing the security and lessening the perceptibility measure.
