Title

Electrochemical Studies on Zinc Containing Zirconium Phosphate Membrane

Abstract

The present study deals with the formation and characterization of Zinc containing Zirconium Phosphate membranes. Impregnation has been done using Pyrex sinter. For the estimation of transmission characteristics of the formed membranes, membrane potential and membrane conductance measurements were carried out. The resulting membrane structure is endowed with cation selectivity and improved permselectivity. The membrane also exhibits enhanced resistance towards impairment in electrochemical activity.
