A GEOMETRICAL SOLUTION TO FINDING OUT A LOST CENTRE POINT IN TRACK MARKING Track marking is a very complex procedure and in it to find out the centre point of an already existing curve of a track is a very complex method. A geometrical principle of chords in a circle that states ‘the line of bisector of a chord always passes through the centre o the circle’, can be effectively used to simplify the process. Here it is discussed how this principle can be used practically in the process to find out the centre point of a curve. And track and field events being so widely popular its application has wide practical effect.
