Biodiversity is the basis for the existence of human life. It is also required for the recycling of essential elements like carbon, carbon di oxide, nitrogen. Biodiversity also reduce the pollution and soil erosion. Biodiversity is valuable for human being in various ways. The values are consumptive value, productive value, social values, aesthetic values, ethical and moral values and option values. Today the valuable biodiversity is under threat due to many natural as well as anthropogenic activities like habitat loss, human and wildlife conflict, over exploitation, introduction of new species and hunting.
