Comparative Analysis of Liquidity and Solvency of UltraTech Cement and Shree Cement

Abstract
This paper seeks to provide a comparative analysis of solvency and liquidity of two cement companies namely UltraTech Cement and ACC Cement. The study was undertaken for a period of fifteen years from 2004 to 2018. To achieve the objective of this study various accounting ratios like average, standard deviation and ‘t’ test have been applied. The result shows that there is significant difference in CR and QR of both the companies. Further, there is insignificant difference in DER and LTDER of the selected companies.
