This paper focuses on Private Investment and Sustainable Development in Tigray Regional State: the law and Practice in Saba Dimensional Stones Factory. It was primarily aimed at investigating the application of sustainable development in the factory vis-à-vis the application of selected sustainable development indicators/measures. The researcher has employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches to analyse the data collected from primary and secondary sources based on the nature of the problems. The findings of the research reveal that Saba Dimensional Stones Factory contributes a lot to the GDP of the countrythrough paying different direct and indirect taxes on the top of contributing to the social development of the people by creating employment opportunities and acting in a socially responsible manner.However, its impact on the environment is still worrisome as long as mismanagement of waste is observed.In addition the company has not appropriate environmental management system and continues polluting the environment. Thus, the researcher has recommended specific measures to be taken by concerned bodies.
