The wireless short range communication is important for today’s world in the field of wireless sensor network, Internet of Things and on-chip or chip to chip communication. Path loss is considered to be a fundamental parameter in channel modeling, since it plays a key role in the link budget analysis. Also, it determines the robustness against interference and noise, which in turn influences the bit error rate behavior. This paper deals with the analysis of how signal get affected with various parameters and also give a view on channel models for short distance communication.
