Forensic science deals with crimes mainly indoor or outdoor having wide range of evidence collection and examination. Micro trace evidences are one of them. We have used foldscope instrument based on optical design with origami for examination. In this article we have selected to examine some evidences like fibres, plant materials and hairs from different species. The identity of all such evidences is confirmed by foldscope technique by looking the morphological features of medulla from hair or fibres. We have focused on the applications of latest tool foldscope in forensic science and its feasibility in microtraces evidence analysis at the crime scene. We have successfully examined all these samples by using foldscope.
