Abstract – Share huge amount of data in a peer to peer network, the "peers" are computer system which are connected to each other via the internet. Also peer to peer play an important role in online games, internet telephony, file sharing, work space sharing etc in all this type of activity need strong and reliable network address translation technique. Goal of this paper is developing technology in problem posed by network address translation in peer to peer networks. In this paper discuss categorized of network address translation detection and both UDP and TCP traversal technology. Method like such as Relaying, Connection Reversal, and Hole Punching are then analyzed. These issue and other and have motivated substantial research on understanding and improving peer to peer cross network address translation.
