Title

A COMPARATIVE STUDY TO ASSESS THE ATTITUDE OF NURSING STUDENTS TOWARDS HOME VISITING IN A SELECTED COLLEGE AT COIMBATORE.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the present study was used to assess the attitude of nursing students towards home visiting in a selected college at Coimbatore. Objectives of the study were; • To assess the attitude of nursing students towards home visiting. • To find the association between level of attitude with their selected demographic variables. • To compare the attitude of 2nd year and 4th year B.Sc nursing students towards home visiting. The study was conducted by using descriptive design, among nursing students in annai meenakshi college of nursing at Coimbatore. Random sampling technique was adopted to select the desired sample. The sample size was 30. The self administered attitude scale was used to attitude of nursing students towards home visiting . Discussions on findings were arranged, based on the objectives of the study. The findings of the study revealed that most of students have a favourable attitude. Key words: attitude, home visit, nursing students.
