Sentiment analysis which is also known as opinion mining is the computational study of people’s opinions, sentiments, attitudes, and emotions which are usually expressed in textual form or emoticons. The project titled “SENTIMENT ANALYSIS OF CHAT BASED APPLICATION USING R” is aimed at developing a report on sentiment analysis of a chat application. The report will give complete information about kinds of sentiments carried out at a particular time. The project in general a “data analysis”, that is, the user may provide a database of his/her chats as input, the user does not include/provide any kind of text in the query.
