Factors Affecting Academic Success and Gender-A Case Study on Engineering Students

Abstract
Student’s academic success depends and various factors, some of them are concentration, memory, friends, health, handwriting, love affairs, fears and phobias, lack of interest, tough subjects etc. A total of 950 students, studying in six Engineering colleges, located in Guntur and Prakasam districts was selected, out of which 517 are male and 405 are female. The study found that male students are disturbing with more number of problems compared to the female.
