Preventive detention and security laws in India; a critical study

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to critically analyze preventive detention laws in India. The study also deals with circumstances when detention leads to arrest. The author has also studied the laws related to Preventive detention in various countries and how they are different from that in India. Furthermore what impact does preventive detention laws laid upon common public and also the distinction has been showed between ‘Detention’ and ‘Arrest’.
