Title

MODIFICATION OF ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR BY MINIMIZING THE POWER COMSUMPTION

Abstract

The Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) is high efficient for removal of dust particles and smoke from air. But it required very High DC voltage for operation. This paper gives an idea to minimize consumption of high DC voltage. In the paper, prototype model of ESP is established. Which give the result such that the ESP model work on low DC voltage, when the fly ash are not entered in ESP or the Thermal Breakdown occur in ESP or insulator flashover occur by high voltage and other difficulties. Due to this problem, lot of energy has wasted. This paper gives idea towards minimizing power which utilise for operation of ESP.
