Title

ESTIMATION OF POWER GENERATION POTENTIAL BY USING MIXTURE OF NON WOODY BIOMASS SPECIES NAMELY GULMOHAR AND CASSIA TORA SEPARATELY WITH COAL BRIQUETTE IN FOUR DIFFERENT RATIOS – A RESEARCH PAPER

Abstract

In view of energy and environmental issues related to the employment of fossil fuels (coal, petroleum and gas) in power generation, AN increasing attention is being paid world over by the scientists and technocrats for the use of renewable energy sources in power generation, metallurgic industries etc. There is numerous kinds of renewable energy sources like solar, wind, hydropower, biomass energy etc. out of those renewable energy sources, biomass is a lot of economically viable for nearly all the continents within the world. Biomass could be a carbonaceous material and provides each the thermal energy and reduction for oxides; wherever as alternative renewable energy sources will meet our thermal need only. Amongst all the solid fuel like coal etc. biomass is that the purest fuel consisting of very lesser quantity of ash materials. Biomass has invariably been a crucial energy supply for the country considering the advantages it offers. Biomass provides each, thermal energy moreover as reduction for oxides. it's renewable, wide obtainable, carbon- neutral and has the potential to produce vital employment within the rural areas. Biomass is additionally capable of providing firm energy. Concerning 32% of the entire primary energy use within the country continues to be derived from biomass.

Key Words
