Title

Recruitment Vs. Electronic Recruitment: A Conceptual Study

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of the study is to highlight the benefits and drawbacks of recruitment and electronic recruitment in today’s scenario. Design/methodology –For the present study a conceptual framework will be developed and the conclusions will be drawn on the basis of review. Findings – The results from the conceptual analysis indicates that Electronic Recruitment has made the job much easier for both the companies and the job seekers. E-recruitment is the present and the future of recruitment. Research Implications –As the study is predominantly conceptual in nature it helps in understanding the concepts related to the recruitment and electronic Recruitment Originality/Value of Chapter – The chapter offers a novel conceptualisation for academics and practitioners within the field of recruitment and electronic recruitment Keywords: Recruitment, Electronic Recruitment, Academics
