Thanks to the augmentation of capacity by the airlines, airports and aircraft manufacturers, aviation industry across the globe is observing a rapid growth. Today, every individual can afford to travel by air. Today, there are more than 1000 airlines equipping themselves to meet the demand for air travel. Through strategic management, product design and pricing, airlines are enjoying a good sum of profits. Indian Aviation Market is all set to become third largest market by 2022 and projected to reach 2nd by 2030 and may become the largest by 2040. The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, through the introduction of UDAN and international UDAN schemes has taken a leap forward to establish more connectivity in the South-East Asian regions which would give a good boost to tourism in Indian states.
