Tyre-pavement friction is a factor that can affect the rate of vehicle crashes. Several studies have suggested that reduced friction during various weather conditions may lead to crashes. It was discovered that the pavement skid resistance has a major influence on the accident rate. This study evaluates the effect of friction on dry-condition crashes. The data was collected practically by performing the test on the Sardar Patel ring road Ahmedabad city, with two-wheeler vehicle (Bike). The test was performed for ten intervals and the average skidding distance and average skid friction was calculated. This research thus aims to determine a skid resistance in order to initially establish the investigatory level of skid resistance for measuring the skidding rate to determine whether the Tyre properties are related in increase or decrease rate of skid resistance while driving a vehicle.
