Title

Effect Of Moist Marble Dust As Partial Replacement Of Fine Aggregate In Concrete

Abstract

To check effect of moist Fine Marble waste on compressive strength of M30, M40 and M50 grade of concrete by replacing 50% of fine aggregate by weight, the research carried out. Prime focuses of study to obtain minimum moisture added to fine marble dust/sludge to achieve highest compressive strength for M30, M40 and M50 grade of concrete and compare with normal M30, M40 and M50 grade of concrete mix. Above mentioned all concrete mix cube casted by replacing 50% of fine aggregate with moist Fine Marble waste with different percentage of moisture contain added (5%, 7%, 8% & 10% by weight of Marble Dust). The test specimen cubes were casted for minimum water cement ratio, slump value and with application of mechanical vibration. The comparison was develops between nominal mix concrete and moisture added Fine Marble waste concrete. The all required tests were conducted as per appropriate guideline of I.S codes.
