The basic aim of this article is to look into the provisions of the Juvenile Justice(care and protection of children)Act,2015. The prime question which this article looks upon is whether the article is exhaustive enough to discard the possibilities of crime by juveniles as it is based upon the principle of reformation and rehabilitation of children. It also looks upon the basic factors or reasons for which the child involve themselves into such criminal activities. The children are known to be the main assets of the nation so equal opportunities must be provided to them for the development to every child for reducing inequality and ensuring social justice which would turn into an effective tool to restrain delinquency in juveniles. The juvenile justice system of the country depends upon the judicial system of the nation. It is a justice system specially made to protect and encourage the interests of children and the main task of juvenile justice is to provide adequate and equal opportunities to children so they develop into a normal law abiding citizen of the country. But in these years we have seen an urge for an evaluation of the problem and the development of new techniques as delinquent behavior has taken a serious form among the juveniles .This became a worldwide phenomenon and eliminating it or reducing it became a main concern of the state.
