This article sets out to study I have taken his three works of Malgudi daysand highlights the emotions of each character. These stories take place at Malgudi village at the earlier time. Each story has different conflicts where Gate’sman Gift talks about the theme of anxiety, uncertainty, public judgment and gratification. The main character is Singh the retired gateman and the plot of the story is his emotions throughout the story and the point of view is how his emotion changes his life. In Missing Mails the theme of the story is humanity, honesty, dejection and heritage. The main character in the story is Mr.Thanappa the postman and the plot of the story is his emotion with the village people and his attachment with Ramanujam’s family. The point of view of the story is how emotional honesty plays in their life. The next story is the Astologer’s Day the theme of this story is human belief, destiny, sin and defrauding and the main character of the story is the astrologer and the plot of the story is how the Astrologer plays with the emotions of his customers and lets also see about his emotion in the story and the point of view of the story is how the astrologer acts wise and cheats people to earn money and acts wise to escape from tough situations.
