Adolescence is a terrible time for an individual and it almost seems incurable. The only way to deal with it is let time do its job. For some individuals, time moves at snail’s pace, and as a society we sacrifice them to teen suicide. Mental illness is something that affects the lives of youths as well as adults, and is one of the tough fights for adolescents to cope up with it and deal it. This research deals with exploring the issues of mental health and the way it has been treated by the society. This article looks into the life of a mentally ill girl,Aza Holmes. The data is collected from John Greens “Turtles All The Way Down”. In this article you can find the childhood thoughts , depression, love and romance, medications, fear of a mentally ill people. The most common mental health problem called Obsessive Compulsive disorder(OCD) is also discussed in this article. It also helps us to understand that mentally ill people also like to have relationship. It also helps us understand their spiral thoughts in mind and why they avoid medications. The article depicts that mentally ill people should be handled with complete care and love.
