Condition monitoring of induction motor is a process of observation of operating parameters of motor. Protection of motors is challenged task in industries. Various CM techniques are having specific advantages and disadvantages. The voltage, current, temperature, speed and values of IM are measured with industrial equipment and transmitted to PLC through MODBUS communication and are controlled with limited peak values. Protection of an IM against possible problems, such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overload, over temperature, and under voltage, occurring in the course of its operation is very important. Induction Motors can be protected using specific components, such as timers, contactors, current and voltage relay.
