The purpose of this study is to simulate a model that can enable an object to traverse a path from a start position to an end position. The path is calculated in real time and is updated to the given object can proceed. The model is prepared by using a combination of existing algorithms which include Breadth-first Search (BFS) and Genetic techniques. The objective of the model is to reach the goal or finish state by avoiding any obstacles on the path. The simulation is done on a grid map and each grid is considered as a waypoint. The path generated is a list of waypoints that is then sent to the object. At each waypoint, a new calculation is performed to find the next waypoint. This enables real-time path generation as a new path is instantly generated if the grid map is changed.
