These days the automotive industry is facing new challenges, the safety of braking system has become a problem. The number of electric and electronic devices is increasing day by day. In heavy vehicles, air braking system is used which contains a pressure sensor to monitor the level of pressure in air pump of braking system. This pressure sensor does not work properly because of Electromagnetic Interference. This results in improper functioning of braking system. In this paper, a microstrip low pass filter is designed which helps in reduction of EMI on pressure sensor using HFSS software.
