Now-a-days parking of vehicles, finding whether the parking slot is available or not is a difficult task. To overcome this problem, we are proposing an IoT based smart parking system. This system finds the nearest parking area and also provides parking slot in the given area. The system consists of Arduino Uno, GSM/GPRS module, and IR sensors. Sensors are used to detect the presence of a Vehicle. As soon as a vehicle is detected in a particular slot and the virtual bulb in the thingspeak cloud, goes high. Thus, it reduces the time in finding parking area and also fuel consumption of the vehicle. This system represents a parking lot.
