SIGNATURE RECOGNITION SYSTEM
Abstract
Signature is a special behavioral trait of an individual that forms a special class of handwriting in which letters or words may not be exhibited. The area of Signature Verification has been broadly researched over the last decades, but till now this remains an open research problem. The main objective of signature recognition systems is to determine the name of the person according to his trained signature samples. This has prooved to be a challenging task, in particular in the offline (static) scenario, that uses images of scanned signatures, where the dynamic information about the signing process is not available.
