Sun is an ultimate source of energy. The solar energy we receive from the sun is a clean source of energy without any harmful substances or compounds. The concept of producing Solar AC Power directly from solar energy without any use of inverter has been proposed by Jason Oliver and certain modification on this concept was made by various research scholars. The DC motor used for spinning the disc which is above the solar cell arrangement requires certain speed control for proper operation of Solar AC Power Generator. The previously developed system uses the complex circuitry for controlling the speed of DC motor. Also the systems are not economic and cost effective. This paper presents an approach of using DC motor PWM speed regulator which has a speed control switch function for controlling the speed of DC motor .The proposed approach is cost effective and it does not uses additional circuitry for controlling the speed of DC motor.
