Online Food Ordering is the buzz word today. Online ordering is more or less now becoming an acceptable norm owing to the various benefits that it offers to the foodies. Some of the benefits include: Convenience (you can order food with just few clicks / options) and ease of making payments. There is no requirement to keep the exact change handy, thanks to online payment methods which enable the user to make the necessary payment with ease. Feedback is most important in today’s world with regards to services. Positive word of mouth can attract lot of new customers and help retain existing customers. Online food delivery apps enable the users to provide their feedback for food quality, delivery and even attitude of the delivery personnel! This paper studies the growing importance of online food ordering. The main objective of the paper is to understand the reason why there is growing reliance on online food ordering apps.
