ATM networks: Pricing and Competition in Banking Industry (A Review of the Literature)* Abstract Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are projected as any time money machines by the banks. In recent times they are increasingly being called ATM- Always Taking Money machines. This change in the nomenclature is what this literature survey attempts to look at. Focus is on how and why this change has come about and will ban on surcharges solve the problem.
