SPEED this is one of the important cause for more number of accidents in recent days. Most of the vehicles are moving with a great speed and the driver can’t able to control the speed when he faces an obstacle. In last 2 years more than 7 lakhs people were killed in the road accidents in India which is a result of lack of speed control and violating the road rules. Road accidents can be prevented by adopting some of the measures like traffic management, improving the road infrastructure and quality of the vehicle. All these existing techniques doesn’t able to reduce the road accidents. Only a very few number of accidents are reduced by using these techniques. But these are not up to the mark. So what shall we do? In order to avoid the accidents and to prevent the occurring of the accidents we have to follow and implement some of the sophisticated techniques in the traffic management. Hence we are going to implement the Crash Management System. The speed is going to be managed by the vehicle itself. For these purpose we are going to use the sophisticated sensor technology. By using this speed management mechanism we can manage the speed in the highways, traffic jams, railway crossings.
