Title

AN ANALYSIS OF FACULTY ACUITIES IN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES WITH REFERENCE TO BHOPAL AND SEHORE (MADHYA PRADESH)

Abstract

Institutional climate helps every college and university to ensure better education by facilitating the teaching learning process and it helps to improve the faculty satisfaction and retention in the particular institution or university for long time. The climatic conditions are quite similar in Sehore and Bhopal as well as the philosophy and vision are identical in each of the institution/s that focuses technological advancement of stakeholders and knowledge, skill building of students. In order to check the concurrent acuity in private universities, the researcher attempted to interrogate six (06) university faculties with a commitment not to disclose the names/departments of any faculty. This study revealed that the institutional climate in different private universities has no agreement with faculty acuity (no significant difference). Study through analysis of data variance interprets that the HR factors have higher level of agreement with faculty acuity. The study was concluded the poor or average or non-satisfactory acuity in private universities because of Covid-pandemic. Rather it could be because of the structural and functional deformity in universities as acuity (perception) develops after a long association, interaction and experiences with the provided climate that either facilitate or does not facilitate the faculty performance.
