This paper focuses on two important things, namely form and formless nature and the same is presented in two parts; the first part deals with how the form and formless play significant role in the way of offering prayer and worship. In the second part, the article emphasises mainly on things in forms and formless. Here the most important is that whatever perishes will not perish literally but changes the earlier form and takes a new shape. This being eternal service is found in the process of metamorphosis that can be found in myriad forms but that will not be taken place in formless. Here, the concept of Mahadasoha, the universal spirit of service, is analysed referring the meaning of the Mahadasoha Sutras of Poojya Dr. Sharanabaswappa Appa. The word Mahadasoha is the universal service. Mahadasoha is based on Dasoha which means ‘I am servant’ and the word Maha in Sanskrit refers to greatest in general.
