Aristotle (384–322 bc), defined emotions as those feelings that change men to affect their judgments. This study revolves around the Emotional culture that is being prevailed in the Leather industry of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. There have been many studies conducted in past in relation to how leather industry has polluted the city, rivers and damaged environment but, a handful of studies show what actually working in those industries feels a like. Thorough literature was collected and studied in relation to the emotional assertive. The data for this study has been collected from three hundred employees who hail from (remaining) alleys of Leather Industry of Kanpur. Questionnaire was circulated among the employees and data was obtained. The processed data reflected very interesting relationship between emotions and their effect on the productivity of the employees. Suggestions were made in last that mostly targets deployment of training programs to the managers and supervisors who will be responsible to handle and cater the emotional status of the employees at workplace.
