Title

Employee Empowerment Strategies for Women Employees in Telecommunication Sector in India

Abstract

Empowerment is a set of measures designed to increase the degree of autonomy and self-determination in people and in communities to enable them to represent their interests in a responsible and self-determined way, acting on their authority. Employee empowerment or participative decision making is neither a new nor simple management concept. Employee participation is a complex management tool that over 50 years of research have proven that, when applied properly, can be effective in improving performance, productivity and job satisfaction. The present study focus on various strategies that can be implemented for empowering female employees in the telecommunication sector. The organisations that implement women empowerment strategies always succeed in achieving their business goals and its impact on organizational performance differs from organisation to organisation. Every organisation can use this leverage and grow business and market significantly.
