This research delves into the detrimental health and social repercussions linked to alcohol dependence, with a particular focus on its implications for families, especially spouses. The study underscores the pivotal role of spouses in alcohol dependence treatment programs, recognizing the profound influence of marital relationships. Utilizing both Parametric and Non-parametric analyses, the research aims to unravel the impact of alcohol dependence on the quality of marital life. Core metrics, including SADQ score for alcohol dependence severity, MQS for assessing marital quality of life, and GHQ scores for general well-being, are employed to unveil the intricate connections between alcohol dependence issues and the holistic well-being of marital relationships.
