Science in higher Education: Indian Perspective

Abstract

Science education has gained main importance in India and more and more students are taking up fields related to Science after II PUC. Scope of Science is more in today’s world. Practical effects of Science can be seen in motion everywhere. Atomic Science to discovery of vaccines in life Science to Technological advancement in field of communication, transportation. Career opportunists in science education like Environmental science, Physical Science, Photonics, Oceanography, Food Science etc. Promoting management research and its quality in IISc, IITs, and NITs. Nowadays the need of higher education institution is reliable, effective and attractive. Higher education plays an important role in development of society. The outcome of the paper indicate the need to discuss the role of science in higher education, role teaching staff, professional development, impact of research on graduate or post graduate
