Shimla HP-172001 alwaysmanu@rediffmail.com Abstract The present research paper is dealing with the growth in area, production and productivity of Agriculture sector in India between the time periods of 2004-05 to 2014-15. This is an attempt to know the changes in the growth rates of area, production and productivity of Agriculture sector in India. An attempt has been made to divide the whole country in to four regions and all major farm crops and states has been included region wise to find out the change occurred during the time period in the growth rates of area, production and productivity of Agriculture sector in India.
