The amount of food waste generated in the country continually increasing, the misuse of food along each stage of the food life cycle has become a ser0ious environmental, social, and financial issue. Huge quantity of food is wasted everyday in hotels and mess. In a country, a huge society is deprived of basic amenities and don't get meal for one time, such wastage is intolerable. Now a day, Smart phone's are available at a highly affordable price and are the best way to keep people and agencies connected. Software deals with the technological aspect in solving the problem of food wastage in hostels and mess at individual level. The proposed concept can be implemented by hostel in their mess to provoke students to save food and therefore save money. From the students point of view the function has to be kept very simple and elective. The management end should also be very easy to access.
