Title

TEXT SUMMARIZATION

Abstract

The need for text summarization is crucial as we enter the era of information overload. In this paper, we present a summarization system, which generates a summary for a given input document. This system introduces a new criterion to get better performance in selecting the most important sentences of text for extractive text summarization.
