E-accounting is new development in the field of accounting. Accounting professionals have to face a number new situation and problems while performing the accounting and audit of companies operating in electronic environment. The recent development of information technology has had a dramatic influence on accounting system, computers become smaller, faster, easier to use and less expensive to computerized accounting system. An attempt has been made in this study to discuss the views of accounting professionals in Saurashtra region on benefits and various issues relating to E-accounting. A structured questionnaire was given to accounting professionals it included open ended, close ended and five scale questions. Therefore, the data was collected through primary data from Saurashtra region. The tools used for analysis are percentage, weighted average and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The findings are presented by the use of descriptive statistics.
