Blockchain has recently received comprehensive attention, the foundation for cryptocurrency. The fifth disruptive computer innovation is known as Blockchain. block chain as a continuous block that enables decentralized and unchangeable transactions. There are many areas of Blockchain-based applications, including financial services, reputation systems and IoT etc. With the passage of time, it has become obvious that blockchain as technology will likely influence the digital currency domain much more than the simple, distributed storage system. A more complete overview of blockchain technology is intended for this detailed study. First, we provide an overview of the structural design of blockchain and compare some typical consensus algorithms for various blockchains. We examine every general blockchain principle and bring all the key innovations so far into practice. Although blockchain is most frequently adopted in banking and finance, many of the key players are involved in studies in several other fields. This paper addresses the many domain applications in which blockchain has had an impact and future implementations are to be expected where possible.
