A series of 1,3,5-trisubstituted 2-pyrazolines derivatives were synthesized by refluxing from various substituted chalcones and 4-hydrazinobenzene sulfonamide hydrochloride in two steps. Compounds were confirmed by physical and spectral data such as M.P., Rf, elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR and Mass spectral data and were evaluated for antibacterial activity against four different bacterial species and antifungal activity against two different fungal species. Compound 4o and 4p showed better activity than standard drugs.
