Abstract
Merger and acquisition is considered as a popular strategy of corporate restructuring in the present scenario. The merger of five associate banks with SBI is considered as phenomenal in the history of banking sector. Two years have been elapsed since Merger. However, the financial performance of SBI after merger has not yielded the expected results. This paper makes an attempt to present the trends in the performance of SBI after Merger.
